I had the honor of photographing and being a part of an adoption ceremony. Alex and James hired me a few years back for their engagement and wedding. It’s always such a great feeling photographing other events in my couples’ lives after the wedding.⠀⠀⠀
Being that I’m a stepdad, I knew the feelings that they were/are feeling. I teared up in the courtroom. When I first started dating my wife 7 years ago, Ethan was only a 1 year old. I had no parenting experience whatsoever. In the beginning, I felt people didn’t believe that I could love a child that wasn’t my own. But I love him more than anything I could ever imagine. Now, I’m one hell of a stepdad.
Seeing and being a part of an adoption ceremony filled me with love. It warmed my heart seeing other people loving a child like their own.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This has been a long time in the making so I’m glad to have been a part of this.
In The Couple’s Words:
“Can’t think of anyone we would rather have capturing our life’s moments. We hired Anthony for our wedding day two years ago and just this month he took photos of our sons adoption ceremony!
He’s sincere about his work, and sooooo easy to work with. He will NOT disappoint, can’t wait to have him capture more of our moments in the future.”
